Silvestica Green Forest Ltd is a a long-term forestry fund for institutional investors founded by SEB, Hesselmanska Stiftelsen and CRK in the spring 2017. Silvestica invests in the asset class forestry through the acquisition of forest real estate in Sweden, Finland and the Baltic States. Operations are conducted according to the company’s philosophy of ”The good forest ownership”. This meaning it shall manage its forest in a responsible and sustainable manner in order to achieve strong increases in value and stable direct yields within the framework of SEB’s Sustainability Policy and in accordance with SEB’s Industry Policy for forest management.
Forest holdings are certified by the forest certification systems FSC® and PEFC whose criteria are guiding the forestry industry towards a comprehensive environmental stewardship and social responsibility. Silvestica and its subsidiary are managed by CRK Forest Management AB.
